Zurhaar enters into agreement with Alti for management of two shopping centres

News

Zurhaar AS and Alti Forvaltning AS have recently entered into an agreement for the management of two shopping centres in Hordaland, located in Askøy and Nesttun. The agreement will take effect from 1 October 2025.

Zurhaar AS is a property, construction, and industrial group based in Nesttun, Bergen. The group owns properties in Norway and abroad, with a total area of approximately 170,000 m².

The shopping centre in Askøy is Amfi Askøy, located in Kleppe outside Bergen. The centre has 22 tenants, with a total turnover of NOK 393 million in 2024. Askøy is a growing municipality, and the centre’s primary market is the local population.

Amfi Nesttun is situated in the district centre of Nesttun, in the Fana borough south of central Bergen. It has 36 tenants, who together achieved a total turnover of NOK 577 million in 2024. This is a welcoming family-oriented centre and an important meeting place for the local community, with the Bergen Light Rail stopping right outside the centre.

“We are very pleased to have entered into a management agreement with Alti Forvaltning AS for our shopping centres in Askøy and Nesttun. This marks an important step in our strategy to further professionalise and develop our property portfolio.

Both Amfi Askøy and Amfi Nesttun are key meeting places in their local communities, and we are confident that Alti will help strengthen their position even further. We look forward to a strong partnership with Alti and to creating even better experiences for both tenants and visitors,” says Rune Birkeland, CEO of Zurhaar AS.

“We are delighted to add two solid centres to our portfolio, in a region where we have long wanted to expand. Several of our key people are already familiar with both the company and the properties, giving us a strong foundation to build on.

We now look forward to getting to know the local conditions and recent developments so that we can quickly begin working on the centres together with Zurhaar,” says Lars Ove Løseth, CEO of Alti Forvaltning AS.

With this addition, Alti’s shopping centre portfolio now totals 64 centres.
